General Rules
  • Active association and responsible participation of students are encouraged in all important Committees like Library and Reading Room. College Building, College Canteen, Campus Cleanliness, Cycle Shed, various Subject-Societies, Co-curricular Activities and Sports-Clubs etc.
  • Every student should look up the Notice Board at least twice a day.
  • Permission form the Principal must be obtained for meetings to be held anywhere in the college premises. Failing to do so will be treated as an act of indiscipline.
  • No Society, Club or Association will be recognised or allowed to function unless the approval of the Principal, in regard to its formation and constitution, has been obtained.
  • All notices on the Notice Board, that do not bear the signatures of the Principal, Professors-in-charge or College Officials, have no validity. Nobody is permitted to put up any poster or notice of his/her own. Defaulters will be punished.
  • All literary and cultural functions of the College will be held under the auspices of the students Central Association/Societies/Clubs recognised by the college. Any voilation of this rule will amount to gross indiscipline for which the students found guilty will be liable to punishment.
  • Bicycles, Scooters, Motor-Cycles and Mopeds are required to be parked in the College cycle shed only against a proper token.The college authorities will not be responsible for any loss if these kept unlocked or otherwise outside the cycle shed and no claim for compensation will be entertained. Loss of the token should be reported immediately. The disputed bicycle, scooters, motor-cycles and mopeds will be returned only after proper verification.
  • Riding in fornt of Administrative Block and Classrooms is strictly prohibited.
  • Smoking, drinking, playing cards and such other acts of misdemeanour are strictly prohibited.
  • No student or group of students is allowed to make unauthorised collection in the name of College students/Public, Disciplinary/Legal action can be taken against those found guilty.
  • Car-parking by students in the college campus is strictly prohibited. However in a special case the prior permission of Principal must be obtained.
  • Ragging is strictly prohibited in the college campus
